Privacy policy

What we collect
Quiz answers (including fit and comfort answers you give voluntarily), your language and country, account details if you sign up (email, display name), owner ratings you post, and technical logs. We never store your IP address.
Why and on what basis
We use your answers to build your kit (performance of a service you requested), your email to sign you in (contract), analytics only with your consent, and problem reports to keep recommendations safe (legitimate interest).
Retention
Quiz answers without an account are kept for 24 hours. Saved kits and ratings stay until you delete them or your account. Click and report logs are kept in aggregated form. You can export or delete your data from your profile at any time.
Who processes data for us
Supabase (database and sign-in), Anthropic (AI product research and reasons), Resend (email), PostHog (analytics, only with consent), Sentry (error monitoring), Cloudflare (security checks), our hosting provider, and Google (sign-in). After you click a Buy button, the retailer or Amazon processes your data independently under their own privacy policy.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, export or deletion of your data, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to privacy@playerequip.com — we answer within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
